A lazy day

I was incredibly lazy today. I woke up late, I walked instead of running, and I didn’t make much headway on the reading I had planned to finish today. I did have lunch with my friend Molly, briefly explore an indie bookstore close to campus (where giggled over an awesome Dracula board book in the children’s section), and stopped by The Little Shop of Stories—one of my favorite places in metro Atlanta—to pick up a book I had ordered. I got home intending to read, but video-chatted with my friend Sarah instead. And then proved to be singularly unproductive after that. And you know what? I’m grateful that I’ve hit a moment in my busy, crazy semester at which I can have a profoundly lazy day and not feel bad about it.
